France, Italy vacation update and slide shows

We had a fabulous time in France and Italy.

We were welcomed by the people of each country and by our friends - Craig and Laura in Paris, Erik in Nice, Annie in Rome. You will see these people (Erik’s place) in the slide shows.

The trip was for Shelley and my 20th wedding anniversary and for Michon’s high school graduation. I was thinking while on the French Rivera that most people take those events, staying married and graduating state-level mandated education, as normal occasions in life. Not us, we went all Robin Leach about it.

Anyway, our two weeks were a chance of a lifetime and we would love to do it again.

I know how much people are not interested in other people’s pictures of trips (not you Laura Smith, I know you will watch), but I have attached five slide shows in case you want to watch. I did not put them on youtube cause the quality is so poor, so I know that some people have a hard time watching them here, but go get Quicktime, it is free, or go get a Mac and enjoy.

I hope these don’t take too long to load.

The oder of the six.

  1. Highlight of total trip
  2. Cinqua Terra
  3. Nice
  4. Paris
  5. Rome

Nerd central on the videos. Glad to see you enjoyed the that part of the world. And for Italy’s sake (and the two years of Italian I took), it is spelled Cinque Terre.
