Here is my first plenary presentation from the Creativity In Ministry Conference (I ended up not recording the 2nd presentation).
If you have heard my stuff before some of this will be familiar with you. But like the album Darkness On The Edge Of Town it might be worth hearing over and over.
I did the recording with my computer not the soundboard so that is the
I might be heading to South Africa this summer. At this point the trip is in the planning stages but might take shape.I am still looking for a few more partners in SA to make the trip a go. Dates are flexible but will be July or early August.
Shelley and our son Taylor would be coming along. This would be Taylor’s trip after high school graduation.
I just returned from my trip to Seattle for the Seeds of Compassion event. What a special couple of days.
I made a video of my reflection of the event. I have picture in my flickr page – you can see them by following the link on the right side (if you are actually on dougpagitt.com and not just reading the RSS feed).
The long and short of it was that I was on a panel with Desmond Tutu and 8 other people. The topic was “what do we do to build compassion” in young people of our communities. As it turned out I was one of the only panelists who was from a particular community. So many of the other responses were more big ideas than practical suggestions.
