Thanks for this interview. I loved so many of the points you made and picked up some helpful tips for conversations with my more conservative friends.

I&#039;d really like to hear you follow up on the dualism/monism issue more. This topic has been neglected.  Did you mean to suggest that you agree with the views of ancient Hebrews that the literal physical flesh and bones (which I guess would by now be dust and probably ingested by other animals and insects) would come back to life?  

It seems like the problem is not an argument between ancient Hebrew and ancient Greek philosophy, but between 1st century and 21st century perspectives.  Why would we take any advice about biology (or metaphysics) from people writing thousands of yeas ago?  Why wouldn&#039;t we go with the best available answer given the info we have now?  Why should faith have anything to do with adopting an ancient understanding of biology (or evolution, or physics, or astronomy)?

The bible has recipes for cooking in it too, but I wouldn&#039;t recommend it as a cookbook.  I must be hearing you wrong because what I heard seemed just as weird as a reformed view based on dualism.
